Step 01 - Get Your Media to Us
First we need your drive to evauluate. Mail, drop-off or schedule one of our technicians to drive by and pick your drive up.
Note: Please make sure to read or shipping guideline here, to make sure your media arrives safely to our facility.

Step 02 - Free Media Evaluation & Quote
The first step in recovering your data is to evaluate and pin down the cause of data loss or corruption. We run a variety of diagnostics - free of charge - and supply you with a written response on what our findings are, and what we would quote to recover your data for you. important data, there is no charge, and no cost to you. Our team of experts will immediately begin the free evaluation process. This process may take between 24 - 48 hours depending on the extent of damage to the media.
Your sales representative will fax, email you a quote for your approval to begin the recovery after the free evaluation is complete. In 95% of all recovery cases data will be recovered at this quote. However, a revised quote may be given anytime during the recovery. For example, in order for the drive to be read a head transplant might be necessary and a quote will be given. However, only after the head transplant is complete can we further determine the severity of data corruption. Again, no charge will be accessed if you do not approve a second level quote.
Step 03 - Begin The Recovery Process
We get to work. We use many methods in recovering your data. In many cases, it means rebuilding the corrupted drive from the ground up, to transfer your files to a new data storage device. Upon recovering your data, a list of files will be sent you via fax or email for your approval.
Finish - Your Data is Recovered & Safe
You pick how you'd like your data saved. If your media is unrepairable, but we were able to retreive the data from the drive, you can pick how we deliver your recovered data back to you. All of your data can be saved to a new hard drive, DVD, CD-ROM, FTP or onto another type of media of your choice.
To keep costs affordable, payment is due in full upon completion of recovery, prior to release of all or part of any recovered data by check, money order, bank transfers, or PayPal. |
